Laboratory Bale Cutter

Laboratory Bale Cutter ? Pneumatic Laboratory Bale Cutter by Prescott Instruments
Precise. Safe. Efficient.

The Laboratory Bale Cutter from Prescott Instruments is a pneumatically powered cutting system designed for reducing natural and synthetic rubber bales into manageable sections for sample preparation. Developed specifically for laboratory applications, it enables efficient, controlled and safe cutting of rubber materials.

An integrated roller conveyor facilitates bale positioning, while a defined alignment within the cutting zone helps achieve consistent section sizes. The robust, fully enclosed design and integrated safety features ensure reliable operation and a safe working environment.

Product Highlights
? Pneumatic Power ? Efficient cutting of natural and synthetic rubber bales for laboratory applications

? Integrated Roller Conveyor ? Simplifies bale positioning and alignment within the cutting zone

? Consistent Section Sizes ? Controlled material positioning for uniform rubber sections

? Two-Hand Operation ? Simultaneous activation of conveniently positioned buttons for safe cutting operation

? Intelligent Safety Guard ? The guard lowers before the cutting blade. If an obstruction is detected, the blade will not descend.

? Emergency Release Button ? Raises the blade and safety guards at the touch of a button

? Fully Enclosed Design ? Transparent safety guard and back panel for enhanced operator protection

? Flexible Bale Handling ? Removable back panel provides easy access when handling larger rubber bales

Applications
The Laboratory Bale Cutter is ideal for laboratories in the rubber and elastomer industries where rubber materials must be prepared for subsequent testing.

Typical applications include cutting natural and synthetic rubber bales into manageable sections for material testing, quality control, research and development.

Operation and Safety
The cutting process is initiated by simultaneously pressing two conveniently positioned control buttons. The safety guard lowers first, followed by the cutting blade. If the guard encounters an obstruction, the blade will not descend.

Once the guard is lowered, the buttons can be released. After the cutting stroke is completed, the guard and blade can be raised using the release button.

This integrated safety concept supports controlled operation and helps protect the operator throughout the sample preparation process.
