Explore the Rheoline Product Range
Rheoline MDR – Moving Die Rheometer
The Moving Die Rheometer (MDR) is one of the most widely used rheometers in the rubber industry. Its sealed, biconical die assembly holds the rubber sample under pressure while oscillating it through a small amplitude at an elevated temperature. The heat simultaneously vulcanizes the sample during testing. Although technically a rheometer, the MDR is also commonly referred to as a rubber curemeter.
Rheoline MFR – Multi-Function Rheometer
The Multi-Function Rheometer (MFR) is an innovative, advanced dynamic testing instrument that expands on the capabilities of the MDR. With variable strain, variable frequency and forced cooling, it enables polymer specialists to investigate material characteristics in greater detail and gain deeper insights into complex viscoelastic behavior.
Rheoline ODR – Oscillating Disc Rheometer
The Oscillating Disc Rheometer (ODR) is a classic rubber testing instrument with a proven operating principle. A rubber sample is held under pressure at an elevated temperature inside a sealed cavity while a rotor (disc) oscillates through a small amplitude within the sample. The ODR has maintained worldwide popularity as both a rheometer and a curemeter.
With the Rheoline product range, Prescott Instruments offers tailored solutions for the precise characterization of rubber and polymer materials – from routine curing tests to advanced dynamic material analysis.
